The Government of South Sudan (GoSS), through the Ministry of Public Service and Human Resource Development (MoPSHRD) has received a grant of US$15 million towards the implementation the “q”. Approved by the World Bank (WB) Board of Directors on September 3, 2024, BIFEPS is in the process of achieving the effectiveness conditions in readiness for implementation and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this grant to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services to conduct functional review and capacity assessment of selected ministries; and review and redesign the civil service job classification and pay and grading structure for the government of South Sudan.
